sisterspock:
A ninety minute exposure taken from a Fleet Street rooftop during an air raid in London, on September 2, 1940.
The searchlight beams on the right had picked up an enemy raider; The horizontal marks across the image are from stars and the small wiggles in them were caused by the concussions of anti-aircraft fire vibrating the camera; The German pilot released a flare, which left a streak across the top left, behind the steeple of St. Bride’s Church.

Thanks for the replies/messages everyone!
It’s going alright here, tons to take care of and tons of people to talk to, but I think I can handle it.
On a sadder note, I won’t be posting much anymore. Privacy reasons. And I-want-my-life-back reasons, haha. I’ll still follow you and enjoy browsing, and I’ll reblog the odd neutral thing, though. :)

Shut up, Kanye, what do you know about classical music :C
Beethoven’s 8th symphony is far better than his 9th. Also, the greatest symphony of all time is Johann Christian Bach’s symphony in Bb Major.
Will you all hate me if I said Mahler’s 6th?
What about Shosty’s 10th?
Well what about the Turangafuckinglîla Symphony? Messiaen ftw. (I may be biased.)
